 Rhinebeck Fun!
Well, our first annual bus trip to Rhinebeck was a great success.(although I think some of us came home a lot lighter in the wallet area!)  We were able to enjoy the gorgeous Autumn colors on the ride down and everyone found some time to knit and converse with each other before we landed at our destination.  I would like to thank Janet Murphey for being wonderfully entertaining and taking care of everyone's chocolate cravings.  Lugene also helped us along with her own variety of chocolate and some flavors of goldfish I didn't know existed!!
Once we arrived at the Festival, we all took off either in small groups or alone, but I know everyone enjoyed the experience.   It was a beautiful day and I loved seeing all of you with such huge smiles on your faces.  For those of you who were new to the festival, I know it was a little overwhelming, it is hard to see, touch and absorb all those fibers in one place at one time but I know you handled it well. (at least no one that I know of fainted!)  All of the vendors had such wonderful varieties of everything you can imagine, and even though it was extremely busy, they were friendly and helpful, answering all kinds of questions.   Some of us were able to knit on the World's biggest sock!  It was amazing!
I know I had a great day and after talking to all of you on the bus ride home, I think after a little R and R (and restoring the piggy bank)  we will be ready for next year!
